Coaches and athletes will learn the teaching progressions and drills for successful throwing in the shot put and discus throw. Athletes will get several repetitions throwing the ring and get instruction from the coaches and athletes at the University of Nebraska. New Husker Throw Coach Scott Cappos has coached over 100 athletes to the NCAA Championships (NCAA First Round and NCAA Finals) and developed over 50 athletes to conference championships and All-American honors in his 20+ years of coaching.
