Nebraska's Oct. 16 game with Baylor will kick off at 1:05 p.m. No television is scheduled for the game.

Nebraska has announced that its Oct. 16 game against Baylor will kick off at 1:05 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. No television coverage is planned for the matchup with the Bears.

The match-up between Nebraska and Baylor is not among the Big 12 games selected for television on Oct. 16, and the contest will not be aired on a pay-per-view basis. Nebraska Athletic Director Steve Pederson said he hopes Husker fans will enjoy a more traditional start time for the Baylor game.

“We decided not to explore the option of pay-per-view, despite all of the success of the past two, to give our fans a more normal starting time,” Pederson said.  “With all of the events available on game day, the 1:05 p.m. start gives everyone the opportunity to take advantage of the full spectrum of activities.”

More details on special events planned for the Husker Nation Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 16 will be announced this week.

The remainder of Nebraska’s game times will be announced six to 12 days in advance of the game.
