Karen Frazee appeared in 48 games during her two-year career at Nebraska. The 5-9 forward from Summerfield, Kan., earned letters after her freshman and sophomore seasons, finishing her career at Nebraska with 64 points, 54 rebounds and seven assists.
As a freshman in 1976-77, Frazee averaged 1.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game, while appearing in 36 contests to help the Huskers to a 21-16 overall record. She hit 19-of-68 shots (27.9 percent) from the field, while connecting on 13-of-20 (65.0 percent) of her free throws.
As a sophomore, Frazee added 13 points and 10 rebounds on the season while appearing in 12 games, as the Huskers finished with a 12-14 record.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frazee, Karen was born Jan. 25, 1958 in Pawnee City, Neb. She was a physical education major at Nebraska.
