A three-year letterwinner for the Huskers, Debbie Lee appeared in 90 games with 73 starts during her Nebraska career. Lee earned letters following her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons, but did not compete as a senior.
Lee closed her NU career with 482 points, 426 rebounds and 52 assists, averaging 5.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game during her three years in Lincoln.
A 5-9 forward out of Omaha Central High School, Lee was NU's fourth-leading scorer as a sophomore when she averaged 6.5 points per game in 1975-76 to help the Huskers to a 21-16 record. She added 5.5 rebounds per contest while playing in 33 of 37 games.
The daughter of Mildred Lee, Debbie was born May 25, 1957 in Omaha, Neb. She was a political science education major at Nebraska.
