Spotlight Shines on Huskers, Sooners

Lincoln - Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini met with the media on Tuesday at Memorial Stadium to discuss the Huskers' upcoming showdown with the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday. Kickoff at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln is set for 7 p.m. with primetime television coverage provided by ABC.

The Huskers (5-3 overall, 2-2 Big 12) will try to continue their winning ways after a victory at Baylor on Oct. 31. The Sooners (5-3 overall, 3-1 Big 12) are coming off a home win over Kansas State.

Nebraska will try to stop a two-game home losing streak when the Huskers face the Sooners, and Pelini said Saturday's game was a big one for his team.

"We need to win a football game and the next one is Oklahoma, if that means regaining that swagger or whatever else. It's about executing and getting better as a football team. That's the challenge we have ahead of us."
