2005 (Senior)
Wide receiver Mark LeFlore completed a productive Husker career by appearing in nine games while battling injuries as a senior in 2005. LeFlore played in 45 career games after quickly making an impression as a true freshman in 2002, and the Omaha native went on to make a strong impact in the NU passing game for four years.

LeFlore finished his senior year with 10 receptions despite battling injuries throughout the season. His 10 receptions went for 98 yards, highlighted by a five-catch, 53-yard effort against Texas Tech. LeFlore also caught two passes each against Iowa State and Oklahoma.

LeFlore has also distinguished himself off the field at Nebraska. He was one of 12 Huskers who made the Alamo Bowl trip as a college graduate, picking up his degree in communication studies in just 3 1/2 years. LeFlore was also active in the community and was one of just 11 Division I-A players named to the 2005 AFCA Good Works Team.

2004 (Junior)
LeFlore played in every game except the Southern Miss contest, and earned starts against Kansas, Texas Tech and Kansas State. LeFlore finished the year with 12 receptions for 208 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown grab at Texas Tech. LeFlore's 17.3-yard per reception average was second on the team and his 74-yard catch tied for the longest of the season for Nebraska.

LeFlore was slowed early in the season by a foot injury, but had 11 of his 12 receptions in a four-game stretch from games three through six, including five catches for 110 yards at Texas Tech. He made two receptions each at Pittsburgh, against Kansas and against Baylor. His final reception of the season was a 46-yard grab at Iowa State, the third-longest catch of LeFlore's career.

2003 (Sophomore)
LeFlore played in all 13 games with five starts and his 19 receptions were third on the team and covered 197 yards. He accounted for a pair of touchdowns, with a 55-yard catch and run at Missouri and a six-yard TD catch against Kansas State.

LeFlore had a breakout game against the Tigers, hauling in a career-high six passes for 76 yards, including his first career touchdown reception, a 55-yarder in the first quarter. LeFlore caught three passes for 39 yards at Kansas, had a six-yard touchdown grab from Jammal Lord against Kansas State, and closed the regular season with two catches for 29 yards at Colorado, including a 21-yard reception, his second-longest catch of the year. LeFlore also rushed two times for 21 yards, including a 21-yard jaunt against Utah State.

2002 (Freshman)
As a freshman, LeFlore played in every game except the season opener against Arizona State and finished the season with six receptions for 24 yards. He rushed four times for 80 yards, including a 64-yard touchdown against McNeese State the first time he touched the ball as a Husker.

One of five true freshmen to see action in 2002, LeFlore earned his first start at Oklahoma State, when the Huskers utilized his running skills on a 29-yard reverse on their first offensive snap. LeFlore caught a single pass in four games, and had a season-high two receptions for nine yards in a 27-24 setback against Texas.

Before Nebraska (Central HS)
LeFlore started three years at wide receiver for Head Coach Joe McMenamin at Omaha Central. LeFlore earned first-team All-Nebraska honors from the Omaha World-Herald and first-team super-state from the Lincoln Journal Star as a wide receiver in 2001. He was also a member of the World-Herald’s Super Six team. In 2000, LeFlore earned first-team All-Nebraska honors as a defensive back with three interceptions.

LeFlore had 41 receptions for 871 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior and made 42 catches for 736 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior. Three of his receptions went for more than 50 yards. He also returned three kickoffs and two punts for touchdowns. LeFlore orally committed to Nebraska before his junior season began, becoming the first commitment of the 2002 class. LeFlore produced the second-best Performance Index score of all time by a high school athlete at Nebraska's Big Red Football School, behind only Ahman Green, another Central product.

LeFlore started for Central’s basketball team, averaging 7.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. He also anchored Central’s 4x100-meter relay team to the state title as a senior.

Personal
The son of Mark and Floretta LeFlore, Mark Jr., was born in Omaha on Feb. 25, 1984. His younger brother, Chris, was also a defensive back for the Huskers. LeFlore earned his bachelor's degree in communication studies in just 3 1/2 years from Nebraska, graduating in December of 2005. LeFlore's selection to the 2005 AFCA Good Works Team and the Brook Berringer Citizenship Team was well-deserved. He volunteered his time speaking at numerous schools including Belmont and Maxey Elementary Schools in Lincoln. LeFlore also volunteered his time during School is Cool Week and American Education Week and is a regular visitor to local hospitals. He was the 2005-06 Community Outreach Officer for Nebraska's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
