2003 (Senior)
Terrell Butler earned letters in 2002 and 2003 as a cornerback, playing in 28 career games and recording seven total tackles and one pass breakup in his four-year career. as a senior, Butler appeared in seven games, including the 2003 Alamo Bowl, and notched three solo tackles and one pass breakup on the year. Listed as the No. 2 left cornerback behind Fabian Washington, Butler recorded solo tackles against Utah State, Southern Miss and Iowa state, along with a pass breakup against USU. He also played against Missouri, Texas A&M, Kansas State and Michigan State.

2002 (Junior)
Butler played in six games as a reserve cornerback and made two tackles both against Kansas.

2001 (Sophomore)
Butler moved to rover before spring ball and played in seven games as a reserve and on special teams. He had one assisted tackle against Rice.

2000 (Freshman)
Butler was one of four true freshmen to play, appearing in eight games. He made one assisted tackle vs. Missouri, and also saw time on special teams. Butler had an unassisted tackle in the 2000 Alamo Bowl.

Before Nebraska (Pebblebrook HS)
Butler was a prep All-American after starring on both sides of the ball for Coach Chuck Stines at Pebblebrook High School. Butler had 25 receptions for 600 yards and five touchdowns as a senior, and made 21 solo tackles and two interceptions on defense. An all-county selection in both football and track, Butler earned Class 4A (largest classification) honors on the gridiron as a defensive back and was selected to play in the Georgia/Florida High School all-star game, where he caught a touchdown pass, helping Georgia to a victory. In track, Butler finished third in the state in both the 100 and 200 meters, with bests of 10.4 in the 100 and 21.7 in the 200. He chose Nebraska over Boston College and Tulane.

Personal
The son of Terry and Dorothy Butler, Terrell was born April 25, 1982. He majors in advertising and is on track to graduate in August of 2004.
