2003 (Sixth-Year Senior)
Jason Lohr completed a long and challenging Nebraska career by earning his fourth letter in 2003. The Tulsa, Okla., native played in 45 career games and made 92 tackles, including 16 tackles for loss, but spent the last three seasons of his six-year college career battling injuries.

The NCAA granted Lohr a sixth year of eligibility after a season-ending injury in fall camp before the 2002 season, and he found his way back onto the field as a sixth-year senior in 2003. Lohr appeared in four games as Nebraska's No. 3 nose tackle behind fellow seniors Ryon Bingham and Patrick Kabongo.

Lohr played a reserve role against Southern Miss, Troy State, Iowa State and Kansas State in 2003. He had two assisted tackles against Troy State, including a one-yard tackle for loss.

2002 (Fifth-Year Senior, Injured)
Lohr was given an opportunity to come back for a fifth year in 2002, but he suffered a season-ending left ACL injury during a fall scrimmage. He was granted an extension of the 10-semester rule in April of 2003.

2001 (Senior)
Lohr had four tackles, including three solos, with three tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks for 16 yards, all in the second game against Troy State. He added two quarterback hurries against the Trojans, and his interior line surge helped NU hold the Trojans to minus-25 yards rushing. Lohr tore his left LCL in game three vs. Notre Dame and missed the rest of the year. Lohr was granted a medical hardship by the Big 12 Conference.

2000 (Junior)
Lohr finished sixth on the team with 46 tackles, while starting every game at nose tackle. He had six tackles for 16 yards lost, two sacks for 10 yards and five quarterback hurries.

Lohr turned in his best performances in the Huskers? biggest games. He had six tackles against No. 23 Notre Dame, eight at Oklahoma and a career-best and team-leading 11 tackles against Colorado, including a career-best five solo tackles and a season-high two tackles for loss. His sacks were against Texas Tech (1-7) and Oklahoma (1-3). Lohr had four tackles in the Alamo Bowl, including a nine-yard sack.

1999 (Sophomore)
Lohr appeared in every game, rotating with Steve Warren at nose tackle, and finished with 33 tackles, the most for any Husker non-starter. Lohr was part of a four-man rotation with Warren, Loran Kaiser and Jeremy Slechta, and saw his playing time increase as Slechta battled injuries in the latter part of the year.

Lohr had a season-best eight tackles in NU?s 33-30 overtime thriller at Colorado. He had six tackles vs. Kansas State, including a season-high three solo stops. Lohr finished the year with five tackles for 19 yards lost and 3.5 sacks for 17 yards lost. He had a career-best three quarterback hurries at Iowa and tallied 11 on the season. Lohr had four tackles and a hurry in the 2000 Fiesta Bowl against Tennessee.

1998 (Freshman)
In his first semester on campus, Lohr made an immediate impact. With nagging injuries to defensive line starters Warren and Jason Wiltz, Lohr moved into a backup role as a true freshman. He played in every regular-season game, plus the Holiday Bowl and finished with seven tackles (five solo), including a six-yard sack against Colorado.

Before Nebraska (Jenks HS)
Lohr earned All-America honors from SuperPrep as a defensive lineman. He was a two-time all-state player as voted by the Daily Oklahoman and the Jim Thorpe Society, the only junior to make the team in 1996. The Tulsa World named him to its all-state team and tabbed him as its defensive player of the year. He played defensive tackle and offensive guard, earning honorable-mention All-America honors from USA Today. Lohr helped Jenks High School and Coach Allan Trimble win four straight district titles in Class 6A and back-to-back state titles in his junior and senior years. Lohr had 95 tackles his senior year, 18 tackles for loss, four sacks and 23 quarterback hits. As a junior, Lohr had 98 tackles, 10 sacks and 32 quarterback hits. Lohr also visited Oklahoma State and was recruited by Texas A&M and Kansas State.

Personal
Lohr was born on May 23, 1979, in Saginaw, Mich. The son of Debbie and Terry Miller and Dennis and Carolyn Lohr, Jason majored in sociology and graduated in May of 2003. He was a four-year member of the Unity Council. Lohr was married in 2000 to Jennifer Corner and together they have two sons, Ryan Michael and Grant Jordan.
