Lincoln - University of Nebraska outfielder Daniel Bruce was honored Thursday, as he was a first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District VII selection. The Omaha, Neb., native is hitting .253 in 47 games with seven homers and 30 RBIs. A two-time All-Big 12 honoree, Bruce carries a 3.872 GPA in English and is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 selection.
