2003 (Senior)
Kevin Guse (pronounced GUS-ee) earned his first letter as a senior after playing against Texas A&M and Kansas State in 2003. The reserve right cornerback played in five games in his NU career, including Baylor in 2000, Iowa State in 2001 and Utah State in 2002.

Before Nebraska (Longmont HS)
Guse played both safety and cornerback in the secondary and was a wide receiver on offense for Coach Gordon Cramer at Longmont High School. Guse helped Longmont to an 11-1 record in his junior season and earned all-area honors as a senior. He was also a member of Longmont’s National Honor Society and earned four letters in track in addition to two football letters.

Personal
The son of Albert and Deborah Guse, Kevin was born on March 15, 1980.An eight-time selection to the Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, Guse produced a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average and earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education in May 2004.
