Sophomore offensive tackle Richie Incognito was named to the Lombardi Award Watch List Wednesday.

Lincoln -- The Nebraska football team practiced for two hours in half-pads Wednesday in preparation for Saturday's 11:40 a.m. game with Utah State.

Head coach Frank Solich was pleased with the workout, which took place on the grass fields north of Memorial Stadium.

"I thought that we had a pretty good practice today," Solich said. "They are working at it and they have a good attitude. We worked in half-pads today and I think we got a lot covered."

In other news, sophomore offensive tackle Richie Incognito has been named to the Lombardi Watch list, given annually to the nation's top lineman. Incognito is one of nine Big 12 players on the watch list for the award. Four Huskers have won the prestigious award, given annually to the nation's top lineman, most recently Grant Wistrom in 1997.

The Huskers will work in sweats on Thursday afternoon, continuing preparations for the Aggies, who dropped their opener against Utah, 40-20. Saturday's game will be televised by Fox Sports Net with the broadcast set to begin at 11:30 a.m.

Approximately 200 tickets for Saturday's game with Utah State remain available and can be purchased by calling the NU ticket office at 1-800-8BIG-RED between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or by logging onto Huskers.com
