Letterwinner alumni near and far are encouraged to come back to Lincoln during football homecoming week and attend a special N-Club event at the Pinnacle Bank Arena on Thursday, October 3rd. The event will provide a behind the scenes tour of the recently completed state-of-the-art arena including a special look at Husker locker rooms and training facilities. The tour will begin at 6:30 p.m. and upon completion a brief program will take place in the Premier level featuring remarks from Nebraska Director of Athletics Shawn Eichorst and members of both the Nebraska men’s and women’s basketball staffs. The event perfectly ties in with the mission of the N-Club providing opportunities to letterwinner alums from all sports for connection, engagement and involvement through events, special reunions and communication while supporting the athletic, academic and career success of Husker student-athletes. N-Club Director Keith Zimmer thinks the night will accomplish a number of objectives, “first and foremost the event allows letterwinner alums to re-connect and socialize. Secondly, we have a chance to educate them about a facility that is becoming a major part of the Nebraska student-athlete and fan experience with an exclusive tour. Finally, the opportunity to hear from Shawn Eichorst about Nebraska Athletics and both coaching staffs about their respective programs and upcoming seasons provides the insight and connection that our alums are eager to hear,” concluded Zimmer.
Each letterwinner is permitted to bring one guest to the October 3rd Pinnacle Bank Arena event. To attend, letterwinners must RSVP with names to Stacey Burling at email@example.com before Tuesday, September 24th. Attire for the event is business casual with all in attendance strongly advised to wear comfortable walking shoes. Parking will be provided by Nebraska Athletics for those who RSVP in the Pinnacle Bank Arena Premier Garage. Check-in for the event begins at 6 p.m. with the tour beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m. Following the tour, during remarks, a dessert reception and soft drinks will be hosted by Nebraska Athletics.
