"It was a good practice today," said Pelini. "We got one in the books and have some things to fix. Business as usual, I guess."
After Thursday night's 48-13 win over Kansas State, Pelini thinks the extra time off will be good for the players and coaches saying the team would have more rest and the coaches have more preparation time for the Longhorns.
Texas is coming off two losses in a row, but Pelini is preparing the Huskers for a tough opponent that was ranked in the top five earlier in the season.
"It's the next game; it's the next challenge," said Pelini. "That's how we approach it. It's no different. We'll be ready to play come Saturday. It's no different than any other week as far as we're concerned. You have to approach it the exact same way."
Nebraska will continue to prepare for the Longhorns when they practice Tuesday afternoon. Saturday's game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. and will be regionally televised on ABC.
