Lincoln - Coach Bo Pelini and the Huskers met with the media at Memorial Stadium on Tuesday to discuss Saturday's key Big 12 North matchup at Iowa State.

The No. 9 Huskers will travel to Ames to clash with the Cyclones at Jack Trice Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. with live regional television provided by ABC-HD.

Nebraska (7-1, 3-1 Big 12) will try to firm its grip atop the Big 12 North standings. The Huskers and Cyclones (5-4, 3-2) are the only two teams in the North that control their own destinies on the road to the Big 12 Championship Game. A win for the Cyclones would not only keep their hopes alive for a Big 12 title, it would also give ISU its first back-to-back victories over Nebraska since 1976-77.

Last season, the Huskers dropped a 9-7 decision to Iowa State in Lincoln after committing eight turnovers in the game. This year's game does not shape up to be a low-scoring affair.

The 2010 Huskers are averaging 37.9 points and 458.5 yards of total offense per game. Nebraska has been even better on the road, averaging a staggering 51.7 points and 553.3 yards of total offense in road wins at Washington, Kansas State and Oklahoma State. ISU enters the contest averaging 24 points and 320.9 total offense yards per game, but is surrendering 29.7 points and 432.8 yards of total offense per contest.
