The Nebraska football team took the field for its second spring practice on Monday afternoon. The sunny, spring-like conditions allowed Nebraska to split practice time between the Hawks Championship Center and the Gass practice fields.

Monday's two-hour and 15-minute workout took place in shorts and helmets before the Huskers are set to put on the pads for the first time on Wednesday afternoon.

The Wednesday workout will be Nebraska's final practice before players adjourn for Spring Break. Before leaving campus, the squad will work out on Thursday and Friday, then return to the practice field on Monday, March 28.
