|
In Week 6 of the NFL season, several former Nebraska
football players played major roles for their teams
New York Giants' Prince Amukamara started Sunday and
recorded six total tackles with an interception in a dominating win against the San
Francisco 49ers, 26-3.
Chris Kelsay of the Buffalo Bills had a standout performance
against the Arizona Cardinals, as he recorded seven total tackles and one sack in
a 19-16 win.
Tampa Bay's Lavonte David continued his success on the field
with eight total tackles in the Buccaneers 38-10 win over Kansas City.
Detroit's Ndamukong Suh recorded two total tackles, while
teammate Kyle Vanden Bosch had four tackles and half a sack against the
Philadelphia Eagles. Alex Henery was perfect on the day for the Eagles, going 3-for-3
with field goals from 26, 32 and 49 yards. Detroit won the game 26-23.
