Seth White played four games at cornerback in his career, including his only game as a senior against Kansas State when he recorded his only career tackle. In 2002, White played against Kansas, after playing against Rice and Iowa State in 2001. He sat out in 2000, after transferring from Southern Methodist University following the 1999 season.

Before Nebraska (Southeast HS)
White played at Lincoln Southeast High School for Coach Chuck Mizerski, helping the Knights to back-to-back Class A state titles in 1997 and 1998. White played cornerback and wide receiver for Southeast, and as a senior had six interceptions and made 50 tackles. He returned one of his interceptions for a touchdown and also recovered two fumbles.

The son of Tom and Karen White, Seth was born on June 3, 1981. A seven-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, White earned his business administration degree in May 2004.
