“The practice facilities are very, very good,” Gill said. “This is a great facility. It will definitely be good for us being on the grass. They have the sport-turf in the dome, but this shouldn’t be that much different as we prepare for the game.”
Gill said the Huskers were a little “sluggish” during the late-morning workout, and the coaching staff will expect a better effort during Thursday afternoon’s practice.
“They were not in tune with everything we wanted to do today,” Gill said. “Tomorrow we definitely hope they will come out here and get some things done at a better pace and a little bit more efficiently.”
