“We worked on every phase of our game today: running game, passing game, blocking, tackling, catching and throwing,” Head Coach Bill Callahan said. “We did it all today.”
The day saw the return of NU I-back Cody Glenn to the practice field.
“He went full go,” Callahan said. “He was dressed up in pads. We gave him some work. We’re just gradually putting him into the mix. He went full speed today.”
While Glenn returned to the practice, two Huskers remain held out of drills, as Steve Octavien and Clayton Sievers continued to nurse injuries. As
“I really lean on and trust our medical staff and trainers to give me the right information,” Callahan said. “They do a great job treating our players. I can only go by what they tell.”
