Huskers Lead U.S. National Team in USA Volleyball Cup

Three former Huskers are competing for the No. 2 U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team in the USA Volleyball Cup as Jordan Larson-Burbach, Kayla Banwarth and Kelsey Robinson all made the team.

In their first win over Brazil (25-22, 25-27, 25-19, 25-19) on July 5, Larson-Burbach led the team with 16 points via 12 kills, two aces and two blocks. Banwarth led the team with 15 digs.

In the team’s second win over Brazil (25-21, 25-23, 25-20), Robinson chipped in 13 kills on 25 attacks with just one error, while adding two blocks and an ace.

The four-match USA Volleyball Cup shifts to Honolulu with match at the University of Hawaii’s Stan Sheriff Center on July 11 and July 12 at 7 p.m. HT.
