Omaha – College volleyball fans can take advantage of a special opportunity on Wednesday. Dec. 13, as all four team practices for this week NCAA Division I Championships at Qwest Center Omaha are open to the public.

 

Wednesday’s open workout provides fans an opportunity to watch four of the nation’s top programs, as they prepare for a national championship event. The day begins at 10 a.m., as Nebraska takes the court for a 90-minute team workout. Other scheduled practice times for Wednesday are as follows: UCLA (11:35 p.m-1:05); Stanford (1:20-2:50 p.m.) and Washington (2:55-4:25 p.m.).

 

The national semifinals take place on Thursday, Dec. 14, as No. 4 UCLA (33-3) takes on No. 1 Nebraska (31-1) at 6 p.m. and No. 2 Stanford (29-3) faces No. 6 Washington (29-4) at 8:30 p.m. or 30 minutes following the first semifinal. The national championship match takes place on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m.
