The Nebraska women basketball team’s game at Texas Tech on Wednesday night will be carried live in Lincoln on MyTV (Time Warner Channel 110) and on DirecTV Channel 25, and in Omaha WOWT DT-620/Universal Sports (Cox Cable 120), the Nebraska Athletic Department announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Coverage will also be provided on Charter Communications Channel 17, and on other select community cable networks in Nebraska that already carry MyTV. Using a digital tuner, you can receive My TV over the air on channel 10.2 in Lincoln and channel 11.2 in Grand Island. Contact your local provider for more information on how you can receive MyTV in your area. WOWT DT-620/Universal Sports can be received over the air on channel 6.2 in Omaha.
The Texas Tech Sports Network is originating the game in Texas, with David Thetford and Crystal Boles calling the action. Tip-off between the Huskers (17-0, 4-0 Big 12) and Lady Raiders (13-5, 1-3) is set for 7 p.m. Nebraska, which earned its highest national ranking in school history by climbing to No. 4 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll on Tuesday after moving to No. 6 in the Associated Press Top 25 on Monday, owns a school-record 17-game winning streak.
Nebraska fans within the state of Texas can also watch the action on Fox Sports Plus (not available in all markets), KMYL in Lubbock, MyTX TV 2 in Waco, MyTX TV 2 in Beaumont, and Time Warner Cable Channel 185 in Dallas, Channel 100 in Corpus Christi and Channel 888 in San Antonio, Waco, Austin, San Marcos and the Rio Grande Valley.
