Q&A with Adrianna Maurer
Adrianna Maurer provided the Huskers with a strong inside presence in her first 10 games as a sophomore. The 6-3 center from Shawnee Mission, Kan., is the only center on the Huskers' 12-player 2011-12 roster. The tallest Husker, Maurer added strength in the offseason, while improving her game on both ends of the court. Maurer is also a solid student.
However, she suffered a back injury mid-way through the season and underwent season-ending surgery. She is back on her feet and on the road to recovery and hopes to return to help the Huskers next season.
Before her injury, Adrianna took a few minutes out of her schedule to answer a few questions to provide a little bit more insight about her life off the court.
