Huskers Gather for NCAA Selection Monday

Lincoln - The Nebraska women's basketball team will gather as a team with invited guests to a special NCAA Selection Show watch party in the grand lobby of the Hendricks Training Complex on Monday, March 12.

The NCAA will announce the 64-team field for the 2012 NCAA Tournament live on ESPN, beginning at 6 p.m. (central). The NCAA Selection Show will air from 6 to 7 p.m. on ESPN, and an hour of extended coverage will continue on ESPNU from 7 to 8 p.m.

The Huskers (24-8 overall, 10-6 Big Ten) will gather with support staff, athletic department administrators, members of the media and invited guests. The gathering is not open to the general public.

The NCAA Tournament begins Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18 at 16 four-team first- and second-round host sites. The second round continues Sunday, March 19 and Monday, March 20.
