The Ed and Joyanne Gass Practice Fields help provide Nebraska with the most complete practice facilities in the nation for football. The Gass Practice Fields give the Huskers two full-size grass fields located in between NU's two indoor practice facilities - the Hawks Championship Center and Cook Pavilion.

The Hawks Championship Center has large doors that open out to the Ed and Joyanne Gass Practice Fields, providing three full-length fields adjacent to each other for optimal practice space.
