Big 12 Championship Fan Guide
Lincoln - With the 2009 Big 12 Championship set for March 7 in the NU Coliseum, here are some answers to frequently asked questions:
Q: Where can I purchase tickets and how much will they cost?
A: Fans are encourage to purchase tickets ahead of time by calling the Nebraska Ticket Office at (800) 8-BIGRED or online at Huskers.com. All-session tickets are $20 for reserved seating (north and south stands) and $15 for general admission (east and west balcony). Individual-session tickets will be available at the door for each of the two sessions, at $8 for reserved or $7 for general admission seating. Doors open at 10 a.m.
Q: Tickets will be left in my name at will call. Where can I pick them up?
A: Will call will be located at the main entrance to the NU Coliseum, on the south end of the building. Player guest tickets can be picked up at the southwest entrance. Photo ID is required to pick up all will call tickets.
Q: I am a Nebraska student, can I use my student ID for admission?
A: No. Saturday's event is a Big 12-sponsored event, as opposed to an NU-sponsored event, so an NU student ID will not be valid for admission. NU students will have to purchase tickets through the Nebraska Ticket Office.
Q: When do the Coliseum doors open and what is the schedule for the day?

Q: Where is the NU Coliseum located?
A: The NU Coliseum is located a half block west of the 14th and Vine streets intersection on the campus of the University of Nebraska. Directions to the Coliseum can be found here.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Fans can park in Lot 12, directly south of the NU Coliseum, and Lot 8, north of Memorial Stadium for $5. Parking garages are also located at the corners of Stadium Drive and T Street and 14th and Avery.
Q: Where is handicap parking?
A: A limited number of handicap parking spaces are available in Lot 12, located south of the NU Coliseum main entrance and off the corner of 14th and Vine streets intersection.
Q: Are there any Coliseum policies I should know about?
A: The following items are prohibited in the NU Coliseum:
- Coolers, large bags and backpacks
- Noise makers
- Banners/Flags on poles
- Glass bottles and cans
- Open umbrellas
- Alcoholic beverages and controlled substances
- Concealed weapons
- Limited use of cameras and portable radios is permitted. Flash photography is prohibited. Game action may not be filmed.
- Smoking is not permitted in the NU Coliseum.
- The University of Nebraska reserves the right to examine the contents of any container brought into the Coliseum.
Q: If I can't make it to the NU Coliseum, how can I follow the action?
A: Fans can follow the 2009 Big 12 Championship at Huskers.com or Big12sports.com.
