She also posted a 9.875 on beam in the first session of the championship meet to earn second-team All-America honors on the event. Her two honors in 2013 bring her career tally to five through two season at NU.

DeZiel earned or shared Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors twice this season, giving her 14 career weekly honors overall. She was a first-team All-Big Ten pick for the second year in a row and snagged her first career Academic All-Big Ten honor during the winter season. Prior to NCAA competition, DeZiel earned NACGC/W first-team All-America honors on vault and in the all-around.

DeZiel was the 2013 Big Ten Runner-Up in the all-around (39.625), tying for second place on floor (9.95) and first on vault (9.95). She took home three All-Big Ten Championship Team honors at the meet on vault, floor and in the all-around while boosting the Big Red to their third straight conference title.
