The Nebraska swimming and diving team will travel to sunny San Diego, Calif., for its annual holiday training trip. The training trip will see Nebraska go up against San Diego State in an annual scrimmage. The scrimmage will be the first action for Nebraska since the TYR Invitational in mid-November. The diving team competed more recently at the Hawkeye Invite from Dec. 2-4. The dual with San Diego State is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. PT at the Aztec Aquaplex.

This year's holiday training trip marks the fifth-straight for the Huskers. It is the first time that the Huskers have trained in San Diego after trips to Mesa, Ariz., Irvine, Calif. and San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Following the dual with San Diego State, the Huskers will return to regular season action on Saturday, Jan. 14 in Lawrence, Kansas against the Jayhawks. The dual will mark the first time that the Huskers have squared off with the Jayhawks as members of the Big Ten Conference.
