Opened in the fall of 1989 at a cost of nearly $3 million dollars, Cook Pavilion provides the Husker football team with an indoor practice area that features a full-length field and a roof high enough to allow practices to include all facets of the kicking game. The Pavilion is part of the $17 million, Lee & Helene Sapp Recreation Facility, which also includes modern offices, a training room and locker rooms, in addition to the latest in recreational equipment for use by University of Nebraska students and faculty.
