Blackwood opened the 2012 season with a personal-best time of 47.92 in the 400 meters at the Mark Colligan Memorial... also recorded a time of 47.96 in the preliminary round of the Big Ten Indoor Championships... finished eighth in the 400 meters at the 2012 Big Ten Indoor Championships with a time of 48.11... helped the men's 4x400-meter relay team to an eighth-place finish with a time of 3:12.60 at the conference indoor championships... posted a personal-best time of 47.92 in the outdoor 400 meters at the Nebraska Invitational on May 5... Competed in six meets during the outdoor season, recording a personal-best time of 51.47 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Nebraska Mini Meet... recorded a time of 51.61 in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2012 Big Ten Outdoor Championships, finishing sixth... helped the men's 4x400 meter relay team to an eighth-place finish with a time of 3:11.50... finished the season with a time of 54.41 in the 400 meter hurdles at the NCAA West Regional.

2011 (Freshman)
Blackwood competed five times during the indoor season for Nebraska, notching a personal best of 22.34 in the 200 meters at the Razorback Invitational... recorded a season best of 48.90 in the 400 at the Texas A&M Tune-Up on Feb. 12... finished 15th in the 400 hurdles at the 2011 Big 12 Championship with a mark of 52.95... helped the 4x400-meter relay to a sixth-place finish with a mark of 3:09.92 at the Big 12 Championships.

Before Nebraska (Munro College)
One of two members of the Nebraska track and field team from Munro College in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Blackwood ran 51.56 in the 400-meter hurdles before joining the Huskers... cleared the time at the 2010 Jamaican High School Championships, where he took first... ran a 400-meter best of 48.46... joined at Nebraska by Munro College teammate Dexter McKenzie... the pair was instrumental in Munro running the top 4x400-meter relay preliminary time out of 700-plus teams at the 2010 Penn Relays, as they ran 3:12.54, before injuries affected the team prior to the final, where they finished sixth.
