Came to Nebraska as a North Dakota Class A state champion in the 100 and 200 meters...earned three state medals as a freshman in 2008, including a third-place finish in the 100 meters (11.05)...captured his first North Dakota state title as a sophomore with a time of 22.39 in the 200 and added a runner-up finish in the 100...set the state record in the 200 during the preliminaries at the 2009 state meet with a time of 21.66...swept the 100 and 200 meters in 2009 with times of 11.09 and 22.38, respectively...chose Nebraska over Tennessee, Georgia Tech and LSU.
