Nebraska senior jumper Patrick Raedler was honored by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday as he was selected as the league’s Field Co-Athlete of the Week.
Raedler posted a first-place and season-best leap in the long jump at the Drake Relays last weekend. He notched a leap of 25-5 ½ (7.76) and ranks first in the Big Ten and ninth in the country in the event. The honor marks the first Big Ten Outdoor Field weekly award of his career.
The Huskers will travel to Iowa City, Iowa this weekend for the Musco Twilight on Saturday, May 3.
