Lincoln - The Huskers Athletic Fund announced
on Tuesday that the 2012 Nebraska Baseball Golf Classic will take place on
Friday, Aug. 24, at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln.
The Nebraska Baseball 2012 Golf Classic will feature a
four-person scramble format. Players who sign up individually will be assigned
to teams, or teams may sign up together. No mulligans will be sold. Golf attire
is recommended, and no T-shirts or jeans will be allowed on the course. More

The price is $150 per golfer, or $600 per foursome, and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch on the course and heavey hors d'oeuvre buffet following golf.
The Nebraska Baseball 2012 Golf Classic is a fundraiser for the Nebraska Baseball team through the Home Run
Club, the official booster club of the Huskers. The Home Run Club is part of
the Huskers Athletic Fund, the fundraising arm of the University of Nebraska
Athletic Department. Funds raised at the tournament and auction will help the
club support the Nebraska Baseball team by providing budget supplements for
operational and recruiting expenses.
