Lincoln – To show its appreciation for everything that the men and women in our military do for our country, the Nebraska baseball team will hold Military Appreciation Weekend starting on Friday, April 4, when the Huskers and Ohio State Buckeyes open a three-game series in Lincoln at 6:35 p.m. The series continues on Saturday at 2:05 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 1:05 p.m.

All veterans, active, and retired military personnel will receive free admission to all three games this weekend. Those who attend that are veterans, active or retired must present their government-issued military ID, VFW/Legion card, or DD214F form at the gates of Haymarket Park to receive free admission. All other family members can purchase tickets by calling the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-8BIG RED, or the day of the game at the Ticket Office located on the West side of Haymarket Park.

During the games, Nebraska Athletics will recognize all those who are currently serving or have served our country as part of Military Appreciation Weekend.
