Lincoln – Saturday’s scheduled baseball game between fifth-ranked Nebraska and ninth-ranked Texas A&M has been postponed because of rain.
The game, originally scheduled for 2:05 p.m., was pushed back to 5 p.m., but continued inclement weather and forecast for continued rain forced the game to be postponed until Noon (CDT) on Sunday. Game two will start approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.
The Huskers will honor the parents of the 2008 Huskers prior to game one, while Nebraska will honor its senior class prior to the second game of the twinbill.
Season-ticket holders and fans that have purchased tickets to Sunday’s originally scheduled game will be able to use those tickets for reserved seating for both games on Sunday. Fans that had tickets to Saturday’s game can use those tickets for General Admission seating for both games on Sunday.
The first game on Sunday will be carried live in Nebraska on Nebraska Educational Television (Ch. 12 and Ch. 112 in HD) and shown live nationally on CBS College Sports (Ch. 610 on DirecTV; Ch. 148 on DISH Network; Ch. 305 on Time Warner Cable).
