Gutschewski Ties for 22nd at Cox Classic
Omaha, Neb. - Former Husker Scott Gutschewski tied for 22nd at the Cox Classic on Sunday after shooting a 14-under-par 270 at Champions Run.
Gutschewski, who played for the Huskers from 1997 to 1999, posted a 3-under-par 68 in the final round to go along with three additional rounds in the 60s. In Saturday's third round, he overcame a double bogey on the 14th hole to fire a 4-under-par 67. Gutschewski carded a bogey-free 67 in the first round before a 68 in the second round.
With the result, Gutschewski moves into 22nd place in the Web.com Money List. The top 25 in the money list at the end of the season will be given PGA Tour cards for the 2013 season. Ben Kohles won the Cox Classic after firing a 9-under-par 62 in the final round.
