Outlook (2016-17)
Audrey Judd hopes to step into a leadership role for the young Huskers in 2016-17. The junior from Olathe, Kan., has competed at the Big Ten Championships each of her first two seasons at Nebraska and played every round in the Husker lineup as a sophomore in 2015-16.

“Audrey has a lot of talent, and we want to mold her into a great player,” Nebraska Coach Robin Krapfl said. “We need to keep working on getting her away from trying to be perfect and just play, but we love her attitude and desire to help Nebraska get back to the top of women’s golf.”

Sophomore (2015-16)
Judd was a staple in the Nebraska lineup in 2015-16, competing in all 32 rounds in the Husker lineup and finishing with a 78.16 stroke average. She produced the best finish of her young career by tying for 17th with a 226 (76-72-78) at Nebraska’s Chip-N Club Invitational at the Country Club of Lincoln, Oct. 5-6. Her second-round 72 was a then-collegiate career best.

She matched that score with a 72 the following week in the final round of the Pinehurst Challenge, Oct. 12-13. Judd settled for a tie for 79th in a 104-player field in North Carolina with a three-round total of 231 (81-78-72). Judd closed the fall with a career-best 218 (70-72-76) that included a career-best two-under-par 70 in the first round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Oct. 25-27. Her effort tied her for 68th in a loaded field that featured 17 of the nation’s top 85 teams.

Judd tied for NU’s No. 2 finish at the GolfWeek Conference Challenge at the Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo., Sept. 21-23. Her tie for 50th (81-73-79-233) included a second-round 73. She opened the season by tying for 52nd (80-76-87-243) at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational at Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kan., Sept. 7-8.

Judd opened the spring by tying for 62nd (83-81-164) at the Peg Barnard Invitational, Feb. 13-14. She added a tie for 79th with a 231 (75-81-75) at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 21-22. She added a tie for 49th in a 99-player field at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 11-13. Judd produced three consistent rounds to finish at 232 (78-77-77) on the Longbow Golf Course.

She tied for 60th in a strong 97-player field at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Hawaii Invitational, March 22-23. Judd carded a 235 (80-79-76) over three rounds in Honolulu, before tying for 90th (83-87-80-250) in a loaded 18-team field at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif., April 3-5. Judd closed her sophomore season by tying for 80th (80-77-81-238) at the Big Ten Championships at The Fort Golf Resort in Indianapolis.

Freshman (2014-15)
Judd made an immediate impact on the Husker lineup by firing a three-round score of 233 (78-81-74) at Nebraska’s season-opening Chip-N Club Invitational. Her performance at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course, Sept. 8-9, earned her a second straight lineup spot at the Minnesota Invitational, Sept. 15-16.

She continued her solid play in Minnesota, closing as the No. 2 Husker with a three-round total of 233 (78-76-79) to finish 45th at the Minikahda Club.

Judd earned a lineup spot at the GolfWeek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo., Sept. 22-24, but she did not play in the tournament. She was replaced by fellow freshman Emily Gillman.

Judd returned to the lineup for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, Colo., Oct. 10-12, where she tied for 48th with a 236 (81-80-75). She closed the fall season with a tie for 63rd (79-81-83-243) at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Hawaii, Oct. 22-23.

Judd returned to the Nebraska lineup at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., March 20-21, producing her best tournament of the season. She fired a three-round score of 222 (74-73-75), slashing 11 strokes from her previous career best, to post NU’s second-best individual finish at the tournament. Her effort included a season-best 73 in the second round.
