Huskers Add Lincoln Native Clark to Roster

By NU Athletic Communications
LINCOLN - Nebraska Head Coach Kerry McDermott announced on Thursday that Lincoln East's Court Clark has signed an Acceptance of Admission to play tennis for the Huskers. Clark will join the Huskers in August 2012.

The Lincoln native is coached by his father, Brian Clark, and Jon Reckewey. In 2011, Clark finished runner-up in the Boys Class A No. 1 singles. He was also named to the All-City Boy's tennis team. In 2009, Clark won the Class A Boys No. 2 singles championship.

"Court is a kid who is just beginning to reach his potential." McDermott said, "I have watched him over the last few years and I can tell you he is improving every year and within this last year has made great strides. Once this guy grows into his body his game will take off to the next level. He already has very sound mechanics and works very hard. We are anxious for him to join the program and push those around him on and off the court."
