The first match of the weekend will be on Saturday, April 14 against the No. 22 Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverines enter the match with a 13-5 record and are 6-1 in conference play. Saturday's match will be held at the Varsity Tennis Center in Ann Arbor, Mich., and will begin at 11 a.m.
Nebraska will travel to East Lansing, Mich., on Sunday, April 15 to take on the No. 69 Michigan State Spartans. The Spartans enter the weekend with a 14-10 record and are 3-5 in Big Ten action. The match will start at 11 a.m. and be played on the MSU Outdoor Tennis Courts.
Huskers Split Last Weekend
Nebraska went 1-1 last weekend in Lincoln. On Friday, the Huskers defeated No. 72 Purdue, 4-3. The Huskers started off fast winning the doubles point and then went on to pick up three more points in singles play on courts No. 1, 2 and 4. The Huskers dropped Sunday's match to the No. 33 Indiana Hoosiers, 3-4. The Huskers picked up their three points in singles play on courts No. 2, 3 and 6.
Lindheim's Win Count
After going 2-1 this past week, senior Benedikt Lindheim now sits at 62 career wins which is good enough for the No. 5 spot on the Huskers all-time wins list. Next on the list is Lance Mills with 63 wins.
Huskers Stay Put in Latest Rankings
In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings released on April 10, the Huskers stayed put No. 68 in the country. In singles play, the Huskers have two ranked players in No. 70 Christopher Aumueller and No. 87 Benedikt Lindheim. In doubles play, the two form the No. 31 ranked doubles squad in the country.

Scouting the Wolverines
The Michigan Wolverines are ranked No. 22 in the country with a record of 13-5, while winning nine of their last 10 matches. Michigan is 6-1 in Big Ten action. Michigan has one ranked player in No. 8 Evan King, who will be playing at No. 1 singles. King is 16-2 from the No. 1 spot this year and has an 11-match win streak. He also teams up with Shaun Bernstein to make UM's No. 13-ranked doubles team. The squad is 14-2 on the year with all 16 matches coming from the No. 1 spot. Michigan is coached by Bruce Berque, who is in his eight season.
Scouting the Spartans
The Spartans are 14-10 on the year and are ranked No. 69 in the country. They have a Big Ten record of 3-5 this season. Michigan State is 11-2 at home this year. MSU's Aaron Pfister is 12-6 on the year and 10-6 at the No. 1 spot in singles play for the Spartans. Pfister and Drew Lied team up to form MSU's No. 85 doubles team. The duo is 6-8 on the year with all their matches being played on court No. 1. Michigan State is coached by Gene Orlando. This is Orlando's 21st season.
