UNLV Head Coach Kevin Cory

On the outcome

Tulsa's a heckuva a team. We're a little fortunate. We thought we had a chance to win the doubles. We were up big at No. 3 doubles and we were up at No. 2, so we were a little bit disappointed we didn't get that 1-0 lead going into it. All credit to Tulsa. They battled hard and have a heckuva a team. Dean does a great job there.

On the outcome

I think UNLV absolutely deserved this match. They competed so hard in singles and doubles. It was a really fun match that came down to a position we feel real comfortable with. All credit goes to their No. 1. The top of their lineup really came to play today.

On winning the doubles point

We feel like we are very fortunate to get the point for the doubles match because UNLV came out really strong on the doubles. Sometimes I thought they (UNLV) maybe deserved the point but our girls came back strong on the number 3 doubles to win the doubles point.

On the tiebreaker game

That team particularly has a good tie-breaker record, so when the chips are down for that team we always feel comfortable to be honest. They have delivered all season long.
