Six Nebraska bowlers were honored on the Spring 2011 Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday. Honorees were students in the Big 12 who recorded a 3.00 or better GPA during the previous semester.

Valerie Calberry led the six Nebraska bowlers with a perfect 4.0 GPA. The Brampton, Ontario native and is a junior Dietetics/Nutrition, Exercise and Health Sciences major, and the award marks her sixth appearance on the list.

Seniors Katie Ann Sopp, Jasmine Laugerman and Danielle van der Meer were also honored for their hard work in the classroom. Sopp's selection marks her eighth appearance on the list. Sophomore Kristina Mickelson earned her fifth spot on the list, while sophomore Shalima Zalsha notched her fourth award.
