Junior Amanda Burau will look to be a leader on and off the alley in her first year of competition for the Huskers.

Head Coach Bill Straub really likes how Burau has worked to improve her game since she became a Husker last year.

Before Nebraska

Before Nebraska, Burau was the MVP and captain at HD Jacobs High School and was a member of the all-conference team. She attended Elgin Community College following her high school career.

Personal

Amanda was born in Glen Ellyn, Ill., May 1, 1991 to Chuck and Paulette Burau in Glen Ellyn, Ill. She has one brother, Jacob. Amanda and is majoring in natural resource and environmental economics.
