2013-14 (Senior) 
Amanda Burau did not compete as a senior for the Huskers because of an injury, but represented Nebraska well off the lanes. She claimed a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award while also earning a Nebraska Heart & Soul Award, which is presented to the most dedicated student-athletes across all sports to NU's award-winning Life Skills program. She was also a member of the inaugural Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

2012-13 (Redshirt Junior)
Burau continued to hone her bowling skills, while also being a standout in the classroom for the Huskers.

An injury limited her playing time as a junior, but she did compete in one tournament during the season. Burau did not post a final score in the tournament.

A member of the Nebraska Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Burau also earned the Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award. Burau captured academic All-Big Ten honors and was a member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2012.

2011-12 (Junior)
Burau redshirted during her first season for the Huskers. She was named honorable-mention NTCA Scholastic All-American.

Before Nebraska
Burau was the MVP and captain at HD Jacobs High School and was a member of the all-conference team. She attended Elgin Community College following her high school career.

Personal
The daughter of Chuck and Paulette Burau, Amanda was born in Glen Ellyn, Ill., May 1, 1991. Amanda has one brother, Jacob. Amanda is majoring in natural resource and environmental economics. She earned academic All-Big Ten honors in 2013, and claimed a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2012. A standout in the community, Burau also captured a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2013. She was a Nebraska Heart & Soul Award winner in 2014, and an inaugural member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
