Stacey Burling enters her third year as a Life Skills Coordinator in 2014-15. Burling serves as Life Skills sport counselor for the men's and women's track and field programs, football, bowling, rifle, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis and wrestling.
Burling is responsible for coordinating the annual Hero Leadership Breakfast, Husker Life Seminar, Husker Heroes Outreach event, and the Student-Athlete Involvement Fair, as well as codirecting Networking Night.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Burling earned her bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business administration in 2009. She earned her master's degree in marketing, communication studies and advertising from the University of Nebraska in May 2012. She served as a Life Skills Assistant at Nebraska while she was completing her master's degree program.
