Graduation day provides one of the most memorable moments in the lives of every Husker student-athlete.

The Nebraska Student Life Complex was completed in the fall of 2010 to provide an expanded and renovated home to the nation's most successful athletic-academic support program. The $10.5 million expansion tripled the size of Nebraska's previous academic facility.

Nebraska's Hall of Distinction lists the names of every Husker varsity letter winner across all sports who graduated from the University of Nebraska. The Hall of Distinction also displays the portrait of every Nebraska Academic All-American throughout history.

Nebraska student-athletes receive extensive one-on-one counseling from the Husker team of academic counselors, allowing them to successfully navigate the University of Nebraska system. With all of the resources available to Husker student-athletes it is no surprise that Nebraska leads the nation in numerous academic accolades including academic All-Americans and NCAA Top Eight Award Winners.

From the day student-athletes decide the University of Nebraska is the right palce to be, the athletic academic counseling unit provides personal and academic support to ensure that student-athletes will get the most out of their years as Huskers. Featuring on eof the most innovative and comprehensive academic support systems in the country, Nebraska is dedicated to helping its student-athletes become outstanding leaders in their chosen fields.

The Scott Technology Center has a state-of-the-art computer lab containing 57 PC and 6 Mac computer systems complete with laser-jet printers. Student-athletes receive computer lab training during the orientation program and have the benefit of ongoing education from a full-time staff member of the athletic computing center. Additionally, student-athletes have access to laptop computers which can be checked out for away competitions.

The DJ Sokol Enrichment Center provides student-athletes the space and resources to study on their own, in groups or with tutors. The DJ Sokol Enrichment Center is the perfect space for Nebraska's study hall program, a flex-time study hall that features day, evening and weekend hours to assist in keeping up with the rigors of the collegiate academic experience.

Abbott Life Skills Center

The Abbott Life Skills Center is located in the Dick and Peg Herman Family Student Life Complex which is a state of the art facility. The Nebraska Life Skills program promotes leadership development and provides recognition opportunities for extraordinary citizenship. Nebraska student-athletes combine to impact over 100,000 people statewide on an annual basis through various service projects. Each student-athlete is assigned a Life Skills counselor who assists in the creation of personalized resume for the student-athlete. Periodic follow-up meetings will take place through graduation to ensure a well-rounded college experience and marketability to realize career goals.
