One of the first CoSIDA Academic All-Americans in history, Bob Oberlin (left) was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American as a center in 1952 and 1953. A native of West Allis, Wis., Oberlin was officially recognized by the Nebraska Athletic Department for his achievements at the Student-Athlete Academic Banquet in April of 2009. Oberlin is officially credited with being Nebraska's first of a nation-leading total of CoSIDA Academic All-Americans across all sports and football.
