Sandy McLaughlin joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as the administration and business office secretary in 2008. Originally from Lincoln, McLaughlin graduated from the Lincoln School of Commerce through the executive secretarial course in 1966.
McLaughlin first started working within the Nebraska Athletic Department as a recruiting secretary from 1970 to 1972. She was Tom Osborne's secretary from 1973 to 1975 and again from 1976 to 1982.
McLaughlin then left the Nebraska Athletic Department for 25 years to hold positions in a CPA firm, while also owning a dog grooming business. She also worked within law offices and as a self-employed medical transcriptionist for four years.
