Ethan Rowley is the director of fan experience at Nebraska and has served as a full-time member of the Nebraska Athletic Marketing Department since October of 2009. He also served as a marketing associate for the Huskers from October of 2007 until being hired on a full-time basis.
Rowley oversees and executes the marketing plan for men's basketball, soccer and softball, while also directing Nebraska's online social media efforts. He also supervises the marketing student intern staff.
A native of Grand Island, Neb., Rowley graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in advertising. He then attended Doane College and earned a bachelor's degree in physical education with an emphasis on fitness and sports management.
Rowley is pursuing a master's degree in marketing, communication and advertising.
He has worked as a residence director at both Doane and Nebraska, taught a freshman seminar at Doane, served as an adviser for several charity events and an intern with the Lincoln Stars hockey team. He also owned En Fuego Productions, a mobile disc jockey service.
Rowley is married to the former Kristen Elias, also a University of Nebraska graduate. The couple has a one-year-old son, Gavin.
