First of all, welcome to the shortest Randy York N-Sider in the history of Huskers.com. I know. I know. No one can possibly believe that yours truly can keep anything short, but I've found a worthy subject, and I know if I go on and on and on about it, I'll lose every single one of you.

So I'm going to keep this short to help Ndamukong Suh do something big!

Here's the deal. We've all been looking for a way to give back to Big Suh, and I think I've found one - help Ndamukong set a world Tweet-Up Record Saturday from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at Husker Nation Pavilion - 90 minutes before the Red-White Spring Game kickoff at Memorial Stadium.

Given his popularity, Suh - the NFL Rookie of the Year - should beat the current Guinness World Record for most attendees at a "Tweetup" - 1,149 achieved by Ford Motor Company in Los Angeles on Dec. 1, 2009.

Here's the game plan. Husker Nation Pavilion opens at 10 a.m. Saturday. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., and all Tweeters on the Nebraska Football Turf Practice Field near the Hawks Championship Center can start tweeting away at 11 a.m.

If you're not up-to-date with all this Tweeting business, don't worry. We've checked with the Guinness people, and you don't have to be a Tweeter to gather for this Tweetup.

So even if you're all thumbs on a smart phone, be there anyway. Suh plans to do a 15-minute Q&A and hand out some prizes to a few lucky fans that gather to watch a world-class athlete pursue a world record in social networking.

Fans unable to be a part of this Tweetup can follow the action virtually here.

Lincoln's Jack Mitchell will emcee the Tweetup.

Wonder how many times he'll lead Husker fans in perhaps Nebraska football's second greatest all-time chant behind Go Big Red.

You know it, so say it. Or, if someone else is in the room with you, just think it .....
