Nebraska and Colorado will meet for the 13th straight season on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The Big 12 Conference has formally announced that Nebraska’s regular-season finale against Colorado will be played on Friday, Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving. The game from Memorial Stadium will kick off at 2:30 p.m. (CST) and will be televised nationally by ABC.

The 2008 season will mark the 13th straight year Nebraska and Colorado have met on the day after Thanksgiving, dating back to the start of the Big 12 Conference in 1996. Nebraska has played on the Thanksgiving Friday every year since 1990, taking on Oklahoma from 1990 to 1995.

The Nebraska-Colorado game was one of several early-season and special television windows announced Thursday by ESPN and the Big 12 Conference. In addition to the television networks and game times for 12 conference regular-season games, it was also announced that the Dec. 6 Big 12 Championship Game from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City will begin at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Game times and television information for other early-season (through Sept. 13) contests will be announced in the coming days by the Big 12 Conference and its other television partners.
